Hello I’m Hebe, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and Registered Nurse and Midwife with over 8 years of experience in supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding challenges.I have worked in maternity Birth suites, Postnatal wards, Special care Nurseries at local hospitals and I am passionate to empower and support new mothers in their breastfeeding journey.Currently also working as Lactation Consultant at a Neonatal nursery in hospital, I have specialisation in supporting families with infants who have special and unique feeding needs.

Phone Consult

This option is great for if you have one or two simple questions and don't want a full appointment.Questions can be answered about breastfeeding, mix feeding, expressing, returning to work, initial mastitis management and more!Phone consult is not suitable for complex questions or feeding challenges that needs in-person assessment.

FAQ

When should I seek support from a Lactation Consultant?
Anytime. You can seek lactation support during pregnancy for education and creating a postnatal plan, or after birth when you have tried baby on the breast.
It’s totally OK if you feel stressed or overwhelmed with how to feed your baby and it’s never too late to seek support.Should I have my partner/support person with me during consultation?
Of course, breastfeeding can be a team effort and partners play an essential role. We are a family-friendly practice and all are welcome.How much will your travel cost for home visits?
A travel fee applies for home visit appointments ($20-50) depending on distance and time spent travelling. Please enquire for more details.Are there rebates with private health insurance?
We have provider numbers with Medibank and Nib, please check with your individual health fund for your rebates.
